(September 20, 2012) — Chesapeake Shores Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors has announced that BuilderGuru Contracting’s jobs Chesapeake MRI (Bowie, MD) and 6th Engine (Washington, DC) were selected as a wining projects in the 2012 ABC Chesapeake Shores Excellence in Construction & Safety Awards competition.

Combination of Anne Arundel firms creates one of region’s largest general contractors
MILLERSVILLE, Md. (March 4, 2009) — BuilderGuru Contracting, Inc. announced today that it has completed the purchase of the building construction arm of Gardiner & Gardiner General Contractors, LLC. The purchase will double BGC’s size and further expand its scope of interior and base building construction services. BGC will continue to use the Gardiner & Gardiner name and retain its core general contracting staff. Most of all, this purchase further expands BGC’s talent, experience and resources to serve clients throughout the Maryland, Virginia and D.C. region. “Bringing Gardiner & Gardiner into the BGC family is a perfect fit since we know each other well, share the same values, and have great synergy between our operations,” said Todd Haynie, co-founder of BGC along with Ben Harries. “Our primary focus at BGC has been interior construction and tenant improvements while Gardiner & Gardiner has focused more on ground-up base building construction, and pre-engineered building systems. Now we’ll have the total capabilities to handle every phase of construction for retail, healthcare, religious, and commercial office and industrial clients” said Ben.
