October may be known as the month for candy, but on October 14 it’s time to celebrate all sweets for National Dessert Day. We have worked on a few restaurants that serve the most decadent desserts. Let’s take a look at four of these restaurants.
Most recently, in 2015, we worked on a project in Ashburn, VA for a restaurant called Family Meal. There, we created an open kitchen setting so that you can watch while your dessert is made. This restaurant has a wide range of dessert to choose from: Double Brownie Sundae, Banana-Butterscotch Pudding, and Raspberry & Rhubarb Crisp to name a few. After you enjoy your sweet treat, check out the shuffleboard table that was a part of the design.

In 2014, we completed work on a restaurant in Eastport, MD: Blackwall Hitch. Here, you can choose from various chocolate truffles to satisfy your sweet tooth. And who doesn’t like chocolate? While you’re there, check out the rooftop deck and the large wire and wood floating staircase that graces the entrance. With this project, we focused on maintaining the historical significance of this building while still giving it a modern feel.

Last, but not least, Kona Grill, which we finished working on in 2011, has desserts that we can’t wait to sink our teeth into. Carrot Cake anyone? Enjoy it while sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking Fells Point in Baltimore, MD.
