Reducing a building’s impact on human health and the environment through better design, construction, operation, maintenance, and removal increases efficiency and quality – key efforts at BGC | G&G. We understand contractors have the greatest influence over sustainability factors since we work closest with client needs, architects, area policy, and environmental requirements.
BGC | G&G has a rapidly growing number of socially, financially, and environmentally sustainable buildings. It is vital for both design and construction participants to develop a willingness to cooperate and approach the project as a team. We have LEED Staff Members both in our office and in the field with “Green Advantage Environmental” Certifications, award-winning LEED-certified buildings throughout the MD, VA, and DC area. We are members of the United States Green Building Council.

A program such as C-PACE provides business owners and communities with the opportunity to utilize private capital instead of public capital, improve local business buildings, and lower operating costs.
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is dedicated to advancing merit shop philosophy, promoting free enterprise by awarding contracts based solely on merit, irrespective of labor affiliation. Through its national office and chapters, ABC is dedicated to addressing industry-wide issues.
