The DAFB Chapel center is a 20,000 SF Multi-Denominational Chapel and AFMAO Building (Air Force Mortuary Affairs Office, AFMAO – this building houses a Grieving Room similar to a Funeral Home where families can gather to grieve) with ancillary services such as administration offices, classrooms and multipurpose gathering rooms. The project obtained a LEED Silver Certification. Numerous Innovation and Design Credits were pursued and achieved, including a Green Advantage Certification for our subcontractors. Additionally, the option for Enhanced Commissioning was exercised.
